Confluence KSAT Sculpture Installation

I had the opportunity to design and create a full scale metal sculpture that was installed along the Karl Stirner Arts Trail located in Easton, PA. Titled A Soaring Debut, the piece depicted an abstracted form of the State Theatre Center for the Arts in Easton, PA.

I made this piece during my time in the “Lafayette Art Experience” in 2017. Working closely with fine artist, Jim Toia, I learned how to weld for this project. My piece was one of four sculptures that together made up “Confluence,” a group installation. I built a small model of the design, before creating the full scale model using steel and paint.
